Former Minister of Transportation
Khalid Saif is an Operations Management and Transportation specialist with twenty-three years of experience mostly dedicated to Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation & Operations Management. His long-time career focus has evolved around developing synergies across supply chain, marketing, sales, and business development functions. His area of expertise stems from demand and supply planning, forecasting, warehouse management, inventory control management, procurement, projects management, operational efficiencies, performance management as well as transportation network design and optimization.
Ex Khalid served as a Minister of Transport in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. His other career highlights include working with leading multinationals including Nestlé Middle East FZE, Ronesca Nutrition, Sultan Group, World Logistics Council, Global Coalition for Efficient Logistics. Khalid Saif has also held several executive positions within leading automotive organizations representing global brands such as BMW, General Motors, and others. Khalid has also been continually active in recent years in the field of training and development, he has held and designed numerous training workshops across the middle east. Khalid was entrusted with critical public positions which included Chairman of Jordanian Land Transport Regulatory Commission, Chairman of Jordanian Maritime Commission, Chairman of Hejaz Railway, Head of The Arab Bridge Maritime, and a member of several government committees.
Khalid holds a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Western Sydney, A Master's Degree in Research Methods and Methodologies from the University of Northampton, a Doctorate Degree (Candidate) from the University of Northampton and is Certified Supply Practitioners-Professional (SCOR-P) from the Supply Chain Council - American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
Some of the notable personal achievements include taking the role of lead consultant for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). Khalid’s consultancy activities included work with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, Greater Amman Municipality, World Logistics Council, Middle East Logistics and Transport Institute, Talal Abu Ghazaleh among many others.
